Baristart Coffee Singapore is the first café in Singapore that offers an exceptional Hokkaido milk quality, the BIEI Jersey Milk from Brown Jersey Cows which makes up only 800 of them. That is barely 1% of the cow population in Japan.
Growing up surrounded by hundreds of cattle and an abundance of dairy, milk is a huge part of our Global Chief Barista and resident Milk Connoisseur, Yuki Takeuchi’s childhood. He travels frequently around ranches in Hokkaido to source for the best quality milk.
The selected ultra-premium Hokkaido BIEI Jersey Milk is highly rich and creamy with a tinge of sweetness. The milk also includes a high butterfat and protein content making it suitable for dairy products such as cheese and butter.
Whilst the milk is used in our beverages, it truly pairs perfectly with our selection of single origin coffee beans. This creates a cup of smooth velvety latte. A menu signature that all coffee connoisseurs should try.
